A Place to Grow a Child's Love of Learning
More than 60 years ago, a group of parents founded the Whitefish Bay Shorewood Nursery School. Their legacy thrives today in an atmosphere where it is understood that every child has a unique way of exploring his or her world. With a focus on learning through playful activities, children engage their imaginations, play with others, and explore the educational basics that set the foundation for strong academic and personal success.
Join us for our Camp this summer!
Camp is open to children ages 2–5 (must turn 2 by March 1, 2017) and will consist of three, two-week long sessions that run Monday–Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The camp days are structured much like the school day during the year but also include lunchtime. Every child must bring a nut-free packed lunch.
This is a wonderful opportunity for current students but also for new students and siblings to become familiar with school, the teachers and other students. Registration for camp will open on Wednesday, February 1. Each camp session will have a fun theme. The cost per session is $175.00 and you may sign up for one, two or all three sessions.
Class size is limited to only 12 students on a first come, first served basis so please return your registration form promptly to secure a spot. Deadline for enrollment is May 1 and all tuition must be paid by May 12.
The dates for camp are as follows:
* Session 1: June 5-8 and 12-15 “Who are the People in Our Neighborhood?”
* Session 2: July 10-13 and 17-20 “Touch, Taste, Smell, See... Science!”
* Session 3: August 7-10 and 14-17 “Tents, Campfires & S’more!”
